One cannot get bored watching ‘PRETTY WOMAN’ , The 90’s romantic comedy movie starring the Alluring Julia Roberts and Suave Richard Gere. A workaholic businessman and how a clueless, honest, heart of gold woman charms a way into his life. In the end it was never about money or conquering projects or private jets, oh yes he had access to ‘Every fake

botox woman’ but the Honesty, Foolishness and Naivety of ‘Vivian’ was enough to make any man’s world tumble down .I know I’m writing a fashion blog, besides the fabulous fashion in ‘Pretty Woman’ you can’t ignore the sentiments that touches us and being a woman I guess ‘Fashion’ and ‘Emotions’ goes hand in hand. After all fashion is an inner reflection, the beautifulness of life, love, fights, hopes, aspirations and dreams that’s what makes clothes even more gorgeous.

The stunning off the shoulder red gown she wore to The Opera, The Black Lace Dress on her first date, The Flare Brown Polka Polo Dress, very dreamy and not forgetting the high waist denims and the Skirt Suits of the 90’s.We definitely have come a long way. Irrespective of the past fashion traumas, there was something about the 90’s,edgyness and an exuberance of class. More of a transformation, A woman who used to think fashion was showing of skin, how can we ignore her knee high leather boots which she used to stash away her money! Her one yard leather skirt, chewing of gum and her enormous Wig Collection. ‘Pretty Woman’ is a transformation of a woman who believed in Chances, Transforming from cheesy into a classy, sophisticated lady. Who doesn’t have hopes, dreams and Second Chances. Love is not about playing games , Its honest and genuine just like clothes. You cannot fake it.

We wait for our ‘knight in shining armour’, Riding a white horse with a sword, well in Vivian’s Case a Limousine and an umbrella. More apt for our times, I don’t think there are horses available, so in our case It would perhaps be a BMW, a Hundai i20,a Maruti Zen or an Activa!!
